3. There are 28 regional
offices of RBI.
4. The Central Office of
Reserve Bank was
initially established in
Calcutta and then
moved to Mumbai in
1937.
5. The current Governor
is Dr.Raghuram rajan
6. The RBI Officers are
trained at the Reserve
Bank Staff College at
Chennai.
7. There are 4 printing
presses which print
notes in:
Dewas (M.P.), Nashik
(Maharastra), Mysore
(Karnataka) and
Salboni (WB)
