The UPSC has invited applications for the Indian Forest Service Examination 2014. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply before June 30, 2014. The UPSC will hold a Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2014 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2014. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 24, 2014. Eligibility criteria: The applicant should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a recognised University. The applicant's age should be between 21 to 32 years as on August 1, 2014.
